Every industry has an open, key-free endpoint: /api/{naics}.json (index). National margin + per-state and per-metro counts. Public domain.

Why it exists

These benchmarks are most valuable inside the product a business owner already uses. Embedded in mewayz onboarding, "your industry runs a {margin} margin — here's how you compare" is an activation and retention lever on mewayz's own funnel. Elsewhere, the widget spreads the data (and a link back) across partner sites. Either way it needs no scarcity and no accounts.
